A friend invited me to an Eat, Drink, Stitch event in Lawrence KS and we had a blast! An evening of stitching with a side of good food & great company - my mom even joined us, since she was in town visiting : ) I made the adorable little unicorn above, which is a perfect gift for one of my daughters. (We're hosting a unicorn/donut themed birthday party for the girls this year, so... yeah, unicorn explosion over here!) I don't think embroidery will ever inspire me quite as much as quilting does, but I find it's the perfect hand project for bringing along to the playground! I picked up an extra @eatstitchdrink design, plus one of these handy little snips (it's teeny - perfect to loop on a lanyard and have on hand while you stitch). This month I'm pairing them with an embroidery kit from Penguin & Fish. Voila! A sweet embroidery set to get you stitching this spring. Click here to enter the giveaway on Instagram! P.S. I've been spring cleaning my studio, culling fabric and notions... you won't want to miss next month's giveaway! I always feature it in my newsletter, so be sure to subscribe for that extra reminder to visit BBD in May : )
