Sunday Stash - Plum Purchases

1/15/2017

Plum Sunday Stash {Sarah Nunes of Berry Barn Designs}
I added a few more purples for my Year 40 quilt: Violet Craft's House of Hoppington Orchid Haystack, L's Modern Basic Fuschia Infinite Kisses, and Studio M's Basic Mixologie Violet Breezy. (And later today I plan to sit down and order a little of Alison Glass' new Sun Print Overgrown in Plum!) I'm *so close* to having all forty fabrics for the quilt!
What color are you currently cultivating in your stash? After I finish this project, I think I might turn my sights toward green next and take advantage of what's sure to be a bloom of good true greens released on the heels of Pantone's Color of the Year.

Those are great prints - love a bit of plum. I'm not cultivating any colours, just trying to use what I have!

I am low on orange, yellow, and teal at the moment and will probably go looking to add to those areas sometime soon. How awesome that you are close to having your 40 fabrics!

Fabulous richness in these plums Sarah, these are colours that are probably sadly lacking from my stash, I think I might have to rectify that!

I love those colours, especially the little cross print.

I love plum, and feel like I'll be headed toward green too, mostly because it's a great compliment for many bundles I already have.

Oo, your purples are luscious! I'm currently stashing up on greens, and hadn't thought about them becoming easier to find with the Pantone announcement. That's great! I always need green since I sew lots of bright kids' quilts. I like to make them gender neutral, so green and orange and purple work well for that.
