Quilting throw-size blankets is my favorite pastime. I also make the occasional pillow or bag for fun. I've had my eye on this book ever since it came out because of that little house pouch. I need several of these little houses around my house!

I love to make quilts l, of anysize! If i am not doing that then i am making crate pads for a charity to send to veterinarian clinics to animals. Or i am sew or repair clothes for some local assisted living homes nearby. Anything to pass the time since i retired so young from nursing because of lupus, its HARD being at home all day! Eeek. I used to sew clothes and totes, and home dec projects, but then I got bit by the quilt bug. It constantly causes itching and swelling in my fabric closet. Anything that uses fabric and piecing is for me!

I've made quite a few wall-hangings lately. My favorite type of project is when I have the recipient/occasion in mind as I sew. I dislike making something that has no immediate reason.

Twin-sized quilts are what I make most often, but I also love making small wall-hangings when I have a flash of inspiration and want to express myself and not have it get lost on my ridiculously long list of "quilts to make".

That is a hard question for me to answer. I love to embroider and cross stitch and create quilts. Sometimes I mix those things together. I would say that I have been stuck on oversized lap quilts lately.

My favorite project are small useful things like bags and buckets. I use lap quilts, but I've only ever made one. I love hand sewing! I've only done appliqué once, but it also was by hand:)

I love lap quilts. My featherweight sewing machine doesn't really do a great job on queen-sized quilts because there is just too much fabric involved. Don't get me wrong. My favorite kind of project is applique. In fact that is how I started quilting. I didn't even know that I was quilting.
